Experience includes raising both private and public financing, seed financing and investing, initial public offering and investor management. Michael has negotiated multiple partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and licensing agreements. He is also skilled at business valuation, modeling and business analytics.
His broad experience ranges from being the initial employee at early stage tech start-ups, establishing the infrastructure and systems, in-licensing the primary and secondary technology and providing business guidance to more traditional financial roles in larger technology companies including budgeting, accounting, cash management, financial stewardship, business development and business planning.
Michael has a Master of Business Administration degree, a BA in Economics and is a Chartered Professional Accountant based in Victoria, British Columbia.
